Water Service Line Inventory Continues Throughout the District
As part of the Port Washington Water District’s (PWWD) ongoing efforts to ensure the safety and quality of our drinking water supply, we have recently completed a survey of service lines within our community to meet United States Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) regulatory requirements. The EPA’s Lead and Copper Rule Revision (LCRR) was issued to all water service providers throughout the nation, and PWWD has been taking comprehensive inventory of the materials used in water service lines across our distribution area.
